Course facilitator
Mike works as Governance Consultant for the Diocese of Chelmsford as well as Governance Development Officer for the Diocese of Chichester. He is part of a Tutor on the Online Church School Governance Course for Liverpool Hope University. These roles include delivering training, providing support for schools and governance bodies and creating resources including a Grove Book, 'Church School Governance'. Alongside this he is a conference speaker on governance and education in general.
Mike Simmonds has 40 years' experience in school leadership/governance across three counties. He is currently Vice chair of the Directors of a MAT (2 schools) and Chair of a Church School both in the Diocese of Chelmsford.
