Following the retirement of our Headteacher we are looking to appoint a committed and inspirational leader who is able to engage and motivate our community of pupils and staff.  Moreton is a one form entry (VA) rural Primary School situated in the village of Moreton within proximity to Brentwood and with easy access to London, Stansted Airport and the M25/11.  We are recognised by OFSTED as being a GOOD school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about continuing to drive the school improvement to achieve outstanding outcomes in all areas of school life;
  • A leader who will provide Christian leadership, upholding school Christian values and actively support, lead and develop the Christian ethos of the school;
  • Have strong leadership qualities with a proven record of managing significant educational responsibilities;
  • Have experience of robust assessment and monitoring across whole school leading to effective analysis to raise standards for all children across the daily spectrum;
  • Have a good understanding of the importance of managing constrained resources whilst still raising standards;
  • Have the ability to create effective, positive relationships with our parent body and other members of our local community;
  • Have he ability to develop a vision of the school's progression in the changing educational landscape;
