The Wellbeing for SENCOs course helps SENCOs explore the realities of their role and develop strategies to thrive, supported by reflection and peer connection.
Speaking about “Wellbeing for SENCOs” requires realism about the role, the lack of appreciation and its stress. This session will help us voice the obstacles and challenges to finding joy and wellbeing in the workplace. But we will also be inviting SENCOs to think of their role, and themselves, in a new way – in a way that recognises that SENCOs and their students are valued and valuable, regardless of how “successful” they are.
In this course you will be given space to decide on strategies that will help you to flourish, and have a chance to speak to peers about how SENCOs across Essex and East London can be empowered to thrive.
