St John the Baptist in Pebmarsh create artwork supporting their Christian vision

The whole school undertook an art project to support their Christian vision. The piece is of a non-western image of Jesus, which they describe as important as we are curious to learn about the wider world.

Interim Headteacher Miss T Gage comments "Together we are a caring community of ambitious learners, curious to explore the wider world, guided by Christian beliefs and values. As unique individuals we celebrate diversity and support one another in our difference. United we strive for excellence. Together we shine"

The whole school worked collaboratively to create this stunning collage, inspired by a non-Western representation of Jesus, to welcome visitors into their school. They have included images to represent each of the unique individuals in their school – and have included their church, which is very much part of their school community.

The piece sits at the entrance to the school for everyone to enjoy as the enter the school.
