Young Enterprise Competition - Roxwell Primary School Are Runners Up!

On 21st September, a group of young entrepreneurs, from Roxwell C of E Primary School, went to Hampton Court as part of the Peter Jones Young Enterprise Competition final.

Following a visit to the Anglo European School, where the children were inspired, they decided to set up their own business called ‘Tiny Tycoons.’ The Executive Headteacher at the time, Mrs Maire O’Regan, supported the children with their business plans and the children designed and sold their own stationery at various locations across the country.

This work was continued by the current Head of School, Mrs Sarah Tate. The Tiny Tycoons managed to raise over £1130 for the school and decided to spend the money on new Chrome Books. This was clearly recognised by Peter Jones, as the children came second in their age category!

The children had a wonderful time at Hampton Court and even met Peter Jones himself.

Well done to Mrs Maire O’Regan, Mrs Sarah Tate, Mrs Rachel Davis and all of the children involved – you should be very proud of yourselves
