Join us for a focused and inspiring day exploring inclusive ministry in our Church schools, centred on the diocesan theme All God’s Children. This conference will equip clergy and lay ministers with practical ideas, theological insight, and confidence to support SENDinclusive worship, pastoral care, and schoolchurch relationships.
The Ministers in Schools Conference 2026 offers a dedicated day of learning, reflection and practical development for clergy and lay ministers involved in the life of Church schools. Centred on the diocesan theme All God’s Children, the conference explores what it means to offer ministry that is fully inclusive of children and young people with SEND. Participants will engage with a theology of inclusion, gain practical approaches for leading inclusive collective worship, and consider how ministers can contribute positively to the pastoral life of schools.
Through a combination of keynote input, interactive sessions and shared discussion, the day aims to deepen understanding of SEND inclusion, strengthen confidence in ministerial presence within schools, and support the development of meaningful partnerships between school, home and church. Delegates will leave equipped with ideas, resources and renewed vision to help every child flourish within our Church school communities.
