Chelmsford Diocese recognises the importance of this stage in a child’s school career. We would like to help you to mark this special time for your pupils by inviting you to a Leavers’ Service at Chelmsford Cathedral.
On Monday 8th June and Tuesday 9th June 2026, we are hosting four services to bring pupils together as part of our family of Church schools and to celebrate their time at Primary school as they look forward to what comes next in their education journey.
On the theme of ‘Rooted in God’s Love’, pupils will have the opportunity to explore their memories and achievements and to consider their next steps through Prayer Station activities. This will be then followed by Collective Worship with reflections, prayers and singing led by the Bishops of our Diocese.
There is no cost to attending this event, although spaces are limited.
Please complete the form by Friday 18th December
In preparation for this event and for your pupils to get the best from it we would ask that you commit to completing the pre-attendance activities which include becoming familiar with the songs for the service and a reflection activity.
We will contact you at the start of the Spring Term to advise you as to whether your school has been successful, and to which service your school has been allocated.
