RE Lead & Schools Adviser
Matt began his teaching career in Chelmsford before moving to London, where he worked in charity education roles and taught in Tower Hamlets. Returning to Chelmsford, Matt joined a local primary school, where he was Head of School for eight years. During that time, he helped lead the school through amalgamation, academisation, and two successful Ofsted inspections.
Joining the team in September 2026, Matt is excited to bring his experience of leadership to a role where he can support colleagues from a diverse range of school communities. He looks forward to helping leaders navigate the same kinds of challenge and change he has experienced, whilst championing Religious Education that helps children flourish and live well together.
Matt enjoys reading, running, records, and spending time with his two children.
